Costs

We have all heard it and said it before, 'you get what you pay for', 'a cheap job isnt great, and a great job isnt cheap' etc etc.

In this industry it definetely rings true, if you are looking for a cheap job, then that is probably what you will get.

We do not advertise and we are never out of work simply because we do not aim to be the cheapest of three quotes.

We quote every job based on taking the time to ensure that the job is done the way it supposed to be done, and use the right type and quantity of materials to do the job the way it supposed to be done.

Others will often under quote a job simply to get the job, and then be forced to rush the job and cut corners to get the job done within budget. These companies rarely get the repeat business or referrals that we always do.

Unfortunately there are dozens of rogue tradesman out there and even companies, who will be more than willing to give you a cheap quotation in exchange for sub standard materials and shoddy workmanship.

We are often called upon to sort out 'bodged jobs' that have been carried out by 'cowboy' landscapers and builders.

The workmanship is nothing short of shocking, often compromising the safety of their unfortunate customers.

To avoid getting caught out ask yourself (and them) these questions:
  • How long will the materials they are using last?
  • Do the materials and workmanship carry any kind of guarantee?
  • Do they have a 'genuine' portfolio of work to show you?
  • Do they have any 'genuine' customer references?
  • Are they a registered company? This does give you a certain degree of protection.
  • Are they insured?
  • Are they registered with the local Councils Trader Register? This should safeguard you against those known to Trading Standards for all the wrong reasons.
If you are looking for a quality job from a reputable company with a professional workforce, who will do what they say they are going to do with service that is second to none, then we are most definitely the company for you.

Here are a few tips to help spot those rogue traders, click here.

So how much will it cost?

Well that depends on the size of the garden but remember that a well-designed garden or a block paved driveway can increase the value of your property substantially.

As with everything you always get what you pay for. We can honestly say that since starting our company, our landscape team have never been recalled to a single property as a result of poor workmanship.

We do not advertise at all because we do not need to. Having served hundreds of customers over the years, most of our business today comes from referrals from existing customers. We also get a lot of repeat business from existing customers, some of whom we have worked for repeatedly at different gardens after they have moved house.

Carrying out small projects in your garden every few months will cost you a lot more long-term. A professional garden design looks at your garden as a whole with long-term planning in mind. This will cost you less over time, as there is less maintenance.

No deposit

We do not ask for any deposit before work is undertaken. Also there are no hidden extras. The price we quote is the price you pay. Our quotations include labour and materials and are fully inclusive.

Whatever your budget, we can normally find a solution to suit your needs.
