The job was completed punctually and professionally with absolutely no mess left to clear up.

New Lawn

I recently commissioned Shropshire Garden Design to raise and improve
my front lawn which was uneven so needed leveling and re-turfing.
Following the initial discussion we agreed the plan and the cost and the whole operation was completed in just over three days.
I found the team punctual, professional, neat and tidy, gave good advice and were friendly and hard working.
The result is a tremendous improvement and I would gladly recommend their work.

Garden Makeover (Paving Areas, Raised beds, Large Pergola)

The Shropshire Garden Design team are first class, providing quality workmanship and fantastic attention to detail.
We landscaped our garden with our one year old daughter in mind.. it had to be safe. Throughout the duration of the project the team kept this in mind and continuously updated the finer details to make sure our finished garden was a safe place to be.
The area was kept clean and tidy and the team dealt very professionally with our neighbours.
We are thinking about getting further work done to our front garden and would certainly return to Shropshire Garden Design.

Garden Makeover (New patio, New lawn, Raised beds, Water feature)

From the first time I contacted Steve at Shropshire Garden Design until the conclusion of the makeover, they were responsive and listened to all my queries and suggestions which helped us both work through to the final design of which my wife and I are absolutely delighted. (Please refer to the before and after pictures).
They turned up on the agreed date and time and actually finished ahead of schedule! They were completely self-sufficient requiring no access to the house (it was an unusual feeling not making lots of cups of tea!) and kept any mess to the bare minimum with any waste removed as required. On completion of the makeover, the hard standing areas were power washed with no mess left whatsoever.
On the financial aspect, it was refreshing not having to pay an initial “up-front” deposit as well as not underestimating the saving of the company not being VAT registered. The original figure quoted, was also the final figure with no hidden extras “added on.”
Finally, now that the makeover has been completed, my wife and I can hand on heart say that it was a stress free experience, and in fact when Steve took us to the nursery to purchase our plants, (which he then brought back and planted for us) was a very enjoyable experience and one which Steve and his company made no profit from – it’s not often you can say that in this day and age!

Your help and suggestions with choosing the appropriate stone and colour of blocks were invaluable and the subsequent result is beautiful and functional area.
I would also like to thank you for your outstanding professionalism. You were sympathetic in dealing with our neighbours and also very professional in dealing with the emergency that occurred with an unidentified and uncharted electricity cable. In addition to this the work area and property was always kept tidy at the end of every day and when the work was finished.
We are delighted with the result and hope to use you and your team again in the near future for some improvements to our garden.

Garden Makeover (Two tier patio, New paths, Raised beds, New lawn)

I have a bit more planting to do when finished, I was going to send you some photos of how the garden looks.
We're delighted with both the design and standard of workmanship of the front and the rear gardens. The turf has taken very well and when the kids were finally allowed to go on the grass, they have had a great time playing football etc.
We really appreciated the speed in which the work was completed. This enabled us to start enjoying our garden much sooner than anticipated. During the great weather in March, we got the garden furniture out and managed to sit out on the patio and soak up the sun.
Looking out on the garden now, it's incredible to think that just a few weeks ago, it was a wasteland.
Thanks again to you, Bob and the team.
You may be pleased to know that we are still a mole free zone!!

Garden Makeover (New patio, Ground level beds, Pergola, Tree surgery, New lawn)

This is to let you know that we are very pleased with the outcome of the work you did for us at the end of last year.
The patio is such a vast improvement on what we had originally and the area has worked out very well.
We were able to re-plant all the roses and they are all thriving and most of the bulbs have also flowered well this spring but the most striking feature must be how well the new lawn has taken despite the weather conditions both before and after you laid it.
Thanks for your suggestions on design and layout, once we had taken down the conifers at the bottom of the garden there was certainly more scope and the garden area overall looks much bigger.
The pergola looks good, all we need now is to stop the pigeons sitting in the false acacia next door - we will then be able to eat out there in comfort, i don`t want to have to wait until the wisteria are fully grown!
Give our regards to Bob and the other members of your team, we are very happy for you to share the contents of this message with prospective customers, they can be assured that your presence on site causes no inconvenience whatsoever and that your standard of work is excellent, all you need to be able to do in the future is to control the weather.

Now that the new plantings in our garden are becoming established we can honestly say that we are delighted with the work that Shropshire Garden Design have done for us.
Our original ideas were discussed before an overall plan was produced and were then fine tuned as the work proceeded.
The standard of work is really very good and the materials used were all of good quality.
On a personal note we found all of the team both polite and obliging - nothing was too much trouble and they worked well throughout the project.
When all of the work was completed we can say quite confidently that there is nothing that we would have had done differently.
