Large Drive Block Paving - Shawbirch, Shropshire
This drive was designed to wrap around the existing bed and lamp-post to allow vehicular access from both directions. The block used here was the Bradstone driveway in autumn colour. Charcoal kerbs were used both to retain the material in the groudn level beds but also to give a nice curve on both sides of the drive.

Large Drive Block Paving - Priorslee, Shropshire
This original tarmac drive was showing the signs of wear over the years with the surface tarmac breaking, up so we were asked to replace it with a block pave drive. We also extended the width of the original drive to allow easier access from the road.
As part of the same project we landscaped the front garden. We tiered the garden creating arced ground level beds and returfed the lawn.

Large Drive Block Paving - Whitchurch, Shropshire
This drive was over 200 square metres. We used a Bradstone Autumn Mix block to match the brickwork of the house. This house had no existing drive and the ground level was 6 inches below the garage entrance. We built up the drive in layers using a base layer of cruched stone, a mid layer of 40mm hardcore and a top layer of 20mm to dust hardcore giving the drive a firm footing for the blocks.

Large Drive Block Paving - Edgebolton, Shropshire
This large 135 square metre drive stretched up the side of and in front of the property in a large arc. The blocks used were Bradstone brindles. Note how the pattern is continued in the new drain cover.

Large Drive Block Paving - Shawbury, Shropshire
This was a large but very straight-forward 150 square metre drive. The old drive was a gravel/soil mix so we had to ensure there was a thicker base of hardcore to prevent sinkage. Eaton brindle concrete blocks were used with charcoal kerbs to edge the beds.
