Lap Fencing - Telford, Shropshire
Lap panels are the cheapest available. Note these panels are only 'dipped' and need treating every 2-3 years to prevent rotting. Lap panels are a lot weaker than featheredge panels and will easily 'bow'. However by using concrete posts and gravel boards, when they do finally go, it is easy enough to slide them out and replace them.

Featheredge Fencing - Shifnal, Shropshirel
If your property is in a very open location like this one near Shawbury, then possible wind damage will be a problem. If you are paying to have fencing installed it is well worth the little extra to have featheredge panels such as these rather than the cheaper lap panels.

Featheredge Fencing - Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Unless you are in a very shelterd location or you hae a very short run of fencing we would recommend using concrete posts and gravel boards. Timber posts are a short term solution as they will eventually rot at their base.

Closeboard Fencing - Telford, Shropshire
If you want the strength of featheredge fencing but you are not keen on concrete posts and gravel boards then closeboard fencing is the solution. Timber posts are installed then featheredge panels are nailed onto them. If you have a slope that needs fencing then closeboard fencing is the ideal solution.
