Our Solution The garden makeover TV personalities would have you believe decking is outdated but decking is as popular now as it was ten years ago. Here is a good example of how a large area of decking can transform your garden. The current turf was removed and a perfect level established ready for the decking. We measured out the area and laid the joists and posts. The decking boards were laid and hand rail and base rails were added. The decking was stained although note this was purely aesthetic as decking is tanalised, and does not need to be treated. New turf was laid and a slate water feature complete with lighting was added, to create a focal point in the centre of the garden.
