Low Maintenance Small Garden, Shropshire

The Brief
To create a low maintenance garden on a limited budget.
Our Solution
First we carried out a full site survey and a number of design options. The customer chose the design that matched their budget and we commenced the landscaping phase.
We removed all the turf and adjusted the levels to create a two-tiered garden separated by a small decorative wall.
We laid the main patio area with Village Stone 18" slabs and created a secondary seating decked area at the end of the garden.
A decorative gravel path was laid with a rose-arch was installed over the path entrance to emphasise the two different areas of the garden.
A smal lawn was laid and beds created which we planted with hardy low-maintenance shrubs.
The finishing touches were added by installing a low-maintenance 'jug and bowl' water feature and low voltage lighting to light up the path and garden at night.
