The Brief
This is our largest decking project to date. The rear garden of the house had a 10' drop down to a woodland which had been annexed to the property. The challlenge was to create a large multi-level deck for entertaining.
Our Solution
Vertical pillars were sunk into the ground from which we started to build the sub-frame for the massive multi-level structure.
The decking boards at each level were run at different angles to each other to create visual interest. Wide steps link the tiers and a walkway wraps around the structure and steps down to the woodland below.
Timber balustrade was installed around the perimeter of the tiers for safety and to help define the edge of the deck.
Finally we brought in an electrical contractor and lighting was installed throughout the structure and the results can be seen below.
