The Brief
This large property had front, side and rear gardens and the brief was to undertake a complete garden renovation that was in keeping with the age and style of the property.
Our Solution
In consultation with the customer, we were careful to source materials that would be in keeping with the traditional look and feel of this property. Traditional Millstone paving, coping and stepping-stones were predominantly used. These materials are quite expensive as the stone is a lot thicker and heavier than more traditional stone.
The large expansive garden was separated into indivual 'rooms' using decorative trellis fencing, panelling, arches and gates to divide the garden up.
Walkways were created to link the areas together using traditional gravel and stepping stones.
We created a seating area using Timberstone sleepers and covered the area with a timber pergola allowing climbers to be grown up and over the structure.
We also laid lawns, planting areas, and constructed a granite water feature/rockery to give the garden a finishing touch.
