The Brief
To create an aesthetically pleasing low maintenance garden with plenty of patio space and a small easy to maintain lawn in a small garden at the Severn Gorge caravan park.
Our Solution
The current garden at this park home was a simple square of turf so we put together a design incorporating circles and arcs to break up the square lines.
The turf was removed and the garden levelled. Bradstone Old Riven paving was installed linking into a central 3m diameter stone circle.
A small circle of gravel connects the central circle to the ground level bed and this will be used to put pots on. We laid the one side of the ramaining garden with slate over weed control membrane and the other with turf.
Block pave edging was used as a perimeter to the patio, the stone circle, the ground level beds and the lawn to act as a mowing strip.
The end result was a low maintenance garden on a single level which is highly practical and pleasing to the eye.
