Long Narrow Garden - Traditional, Shropshire

The Brief
This old traditonal garden had become heavily overgrown. Hedges were takin over the garden and old lap fencing had rotted and was falling over. The customer wanted to open the garden up and create more space.
Our Solution
All the existing hedges and old lap fencing was removed and replaced with concrete posts and gravel boards that will last a lot longer.
The old concrete paving was removed and replaced with Village Stone 18" buff slabs to lighten up the whole garden.
The turf was removed and the ground levelled before laying Grade 'A' quality turf and watering thoroughly.
Two new arches were installed to separate the different areas of the garden and trellis was installed allowing climbers to grow up and over the arches.
Finally replaced the old rotten gate with a hand-made tongue and groove timber gate with new fixings.
