Tiered Garden with Decking, Shropshire

The Brief
To create a low-maintenance garden and maximise its small space.
Our Solution
The garden area was cleared and a two-tier garden was created with a small decorative wall located much father back into the garden space than the old one to maximise the size of the new patio.
A large patio was laid using Village Stone 18" slabs and these slabs were continued down the side of the house.
We then created a two-level area of decking with the higher tier at 45 degrees to the lower tier to give interest to the garden.
A timber pergola was built on the top tier of decking as this would the primary seating area.
A stone water feature was installed in the corner of the garden and the project was finished with the planting phase focusing on hardy low maintenance evergreen shrubs.
