The Brief
To provide a solution to an impractical garden on several levels which is difficult to maintain, and to make better us of the space available.
Our Solution
With a mini-digger, we dug back the existing bank to provide a much large seating area. We then installed a retaining wall and steps made from pressure treated sleepers.
The top level lawn was then taken up, the ground levelled, and fresh turf laid.
We then cleared the top end of the garden and installed a two-bay compost area from sleepers, and a small area of decorative gravel with ground level beds either side.
In the main seating area, the existing pond was renovated and new paving slabs laid.
The customer was very happy with the result and we were invited back to redesign and landscape the small front garden next to the drive.
