Small patio using Wyresdale Abbey setts - Chipnall, Shropshire
This property had only a small area available for a patio but it was in the perfect position in the sun afternoon overlooking the fields.
To make the area appear larger we used small lightly coloured Wyresdale Abbey setts. In addition we orientated the lines 45 degrees from the house and cut a sweeping curve on the outside of the seating area to where it joined the lawn.
These small details made a huge difference to the final job.

Courtyard patio using Wyresdale Abbey setts - Bridgnorth, Shropshire
The location of this property was such that we had to use materials that were in keeping with the current building. A courtyard seating area was required in front of a traditional brick arch.
We laid Rustic Wyresdale Setts in an arc to mimic the arc of the brick arch.
These setts are perfect for period properties.

Patio and paths using Bradstone Rumbled setts - Telford, Shropshire
The customer wanted something a little different from the conventional paving slabs with a bit of colour, so setts were suggested.
The patio area that was required was of an unconventional shape with angles and arcs so this was a lot easier to achieve with smaller setts than it would have been with standard size paving slabs.
We used the same product for the garden paths and the colourful setts framed the new turf area beautifully.
