Bowland Stone Cathedral Paving in Autumn Brown - Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Another example of this popular mid priced paving. In this case, the slabs were cut in an arc to form a sweeping patio around the house, and solid blue bricks used to edge it.

Bowland Stone Cathedral Paving in Autumn Brown - Roden, Shropshire
This popular mid priced paving slab range has a distinct rough-hewn texture that has been blended into three natural tones. The example shown here is the popular Autumn Brown colour.
This range is available in three sizes 2'x'2', 2'x'1' and 1'x1'. You can choose from a chequerboard square pattern, or as is shown here a random pattern. Note the deliberate wide mortar joints which give the patio a traditional affect.
This is a practical heavy duty 38mm slab that will stand the test of time.

Bowland Stone Cathedral Paving in Barley - Bridgnorth, Shropshire
This is the Barley version of the paving slabs used above in Roden. Again it is available in three sizes and has the same riven face texture and riven edge.
Most people do opt for a random pattern and this is what we did again here.
Note the brick edging between the patio and the lawn to give a cleaner edge for the mowing strip.
Note also the difference in colour between the dry and wet sections of the patio. This colour change needs to be taken into consideration when choosing the colour of your paving.

Bowland Stone Cathedral Paving in Weathered York - Telford, Shropshire
This is the Weathered York version of the Bowland Cathedral Paving.
The sun was shining when these photos were taken and the paving looks very light but has in fact a classic yorkstone green tinge. Samples can be provided so you can decide which is the right paving for you.
To give continuity, the same slab was used for the main rectangular patio next to the house, an arced garden patio either side of raised beds, under a corner pergola, and also for the connecting paths at the side of the house.

Bowland Stone Windsor Paving in Welsh Slate - Telford, Shropshire
Windsor paving is smooth edged with a lightly textured surface, true to the distinctive nature of classic Yorkshire stone.
Windsor is an ideal choice for both urban and rural gardens.
The Welsh Slate colour shown here gives a very modern contermporary feel and is becoming a very popular choice.
