Large Asymetric Pergola - Shrewsbury, Shropshire
This large corner pergola was built as part of a large garden woodland project in Shrewsbury.
The pergola was designed to link a large area of multi-level decking into a large woodland garden. From the pergola, paths lead you through different sections of the garden.
The final stage of this project involved lighting and as you can see the pergola and garden are transformed at night.

Large Corner Pergola - Telford, Shropshire
This large timber pergola was installed as part of a garden makeover project.
A sturdy 8"x8" post was concreted into the corner to provide the support for the structure. Four further posts were installed ready for the rafters to be secured into position.
Trellis was screwed onto the side sections to allow clematis to climb up and eventually over the pergola structure, to give a feeling of privacy.
Note the rafters are extended 2' beyond the footprint of the structure to give the impression that the structure is larger than the area it actually occupies.

Small Hexagonal Gazebo - Shrewsbury, Shropshire
This innovative hexagonal gazebo was constructed as part of a larger garden makeover.
The garden was quite small and the customer did not want to lose the shrubs and climbers in the corner of the garden so this was built to make use of the shrubbery, allowing the climber to wrap around the new posts and over the top structure.
The new gazebo accommodated a small private seating area not intruding on the rest of the garden.

Large Corner Pergola - Whitchurch, Shropshire
This stunning large pergola was built as part of a large garden makeover project as is the major focal point in the garden.
Larger timber were used to carry the extra weight. All the cross pieces are slotted to additional strength. A pergola of this size usually takes two days to construct.

Large Square Pergola - Wem, Shropshire
This straight-forward square pergola was designed to fit in the corner of a garden and provide shelter for a seating area. Trellis was installed on the surrounding fenc to allow climbers to be planted and grow up over the pergola.

Large Asymetric Pergola - Bayston Hill, Shropshire
This asymetric shape pergola was designed and installed by ourselves as part of a larger garden makeover.
Note the second photo below was taken after the timber had been treated but treating this timber is an aesthetic option, as all the timber we use is fully pressure treated prior to installation.

Large L-shape Pergola - Shrewsbury, Shropshire
This L-shaped pergola waa designed to cover both the path into the garden and also a seating area within the garden itself. As with most of our jobs the pergola was built as part of complete garden makeover.
The pergola was stained but note we use tanalised timber which is pressure-treated so staining is purely aesthetic, the timbers do not need to be treated.

This medium size square pergola was installed onto a tieried raised decking area. Note we do not use kits for our pergolas.

Japanese Lean-to Pergola - Lilleshall, Shropshire
Most of the pergolas we install are built by ourselves for a specific area and style. The pergola shown here is from the Grange Fencing range and is available as a kit which we installed as part of a larger garden project.

Protected Lean-to & Freestanding Pergolas - Telford, Shropshire
Here we built two separate structures. We built an L-shape lean-to off the side of the house and fastened plastic sheets to give a dry seating area. Next to this we built a separate freestanding pergola for use as a barbecue area. Both structures were stained although this is not necessary with treated timber.

Japanese Gazebo - Telford, Shropshire
This was constructed as part of a larger garden makeover project featuring a large Koi pond and the design dictated that gazebo had to be perched over the edge of it!
Needless to say even though it looks as if the one posts is simply resting on the decking, it has been constructed in such a way that it will never move.
If you have a more unusual request for locating a gazebo we dont mind a challenge!

Square Pergola - Wem, Shropshire
This was a straight-forward construction, a simple square pergola made from tanalised timber.
Note that we do not use kits unless these are specifically requested. All of our pergolas are hand made using strong treated timbers. Timber posts are concreted a minimum of 2' into the ground and all the refters are screwed with decking screws to prevent splitting.
