The customer wanted a natural looking water feature that would blend in with the decorative timber fencing and decking in the garden.
We constructed this water feature from tanalised sleepers. A small fountain was installed and the fountain heads and water flow can be adjusted when required. A beautiful lilly finishes the look.

Fountain - Loppington Hall, Shropshire
This is the largest single water feature we have installed to date. The individual segments of the base and the fountain itself were shipped from Ireland prior to our installation.
Great care had to be taken to ensure the rendering and the seals between all the individual pieces were waterproofed.
Once the had been dug and the base segments installed and sealed, the sections of the fountain were carefully lifted into place with a Telehandler and sealed.
A specialist pump and individual pipes to each bowl ensured a consistant flow of water from the top to the bottom bowl.
We have since also installed a fish pond, a traditional pergola and a specialist brick arch in the grounds.

Sandstone Water Feature - Childs Ercall, Shropshire
This was a simple semi-circle of sandstone bricks to match in with the sandstone patio surround with sandstone coping stones to finish off the top course.
We installed a pond liner, pump and central fountain feature which can be adjusted.
This design was a modification of the vote winning design we used at the 2006 Shrewsbury Flower Show. A simple but effective design which looks as if it has been there for years.

Drilled Slate - Wem, Shropshire
Drilled slate comes in a variety of sizes and shapes. You can use a single piece or as we have here two pieces together fed from a single pump. The pump draws water from a sump and the pump can be adjusted to speed up or slow down the flow of water back over the slate and back into the sump.
Installing these takes great care to ensure that slate pieces are secured properly and that there is no loss of water. Drilled stone must be positioned to ensure there is an even flow of water on all sides.

Drilled Slate Feature - Telford, Shropshire
Here he constructed a water feature in the centre of a new lawn using drilled slate. Water is taken from a sump underneath and driven by the pump through the centre of the slate and back down the outside and into the sump.
We also installed lights and this feature is stunning at night with the white light shimmering on the wet slate.

Large Drilled Slate Feature - Telford, Shropshire
Another example of drilled slate but this was one of the larger pieces we have installed. This was installed on a reinforced galvanized grid capable to taking the excessive weight of the stone. Water circulates from the sump up through the slate and back down into the sump.
Note these need to be topped up in Summer months. Lights were installed to finish the effect.

Two Drilled Slate Features - Telford, Shropshire
The customer couldn't decide which of two sample monoliths to use so we used both as part of a small garden makeover.
The two monoliths at either end and either side of the garden immediately add a third dimension to the garden and create a stunning effect when they are both turned on.
