Wildlife Pond - Oswestry, Shropshire
A medium sized wildlife pond was required to occupy a dead corner of a garden.
We dug out the required area and built up the waterfall. The pond was then lined with Butyl rubber liner and natural sandstone used for the rockery stone.
The pump and filtration system were installed and the pond was ready to be filled. Finally small heathers and alpines are added to the rockery beds around the perimeter.
The result was an attractive wildlife pond overlooking the fields.

Wildlife Pond - Telford, Shropshire
As an indication of what we are capable of, the small wildlife pond below was dug, installed and completed by two men in a single day, albeit a long day.
We dug the pond then installed a rubber liner and cocncreted sandstone rock around the perimeter. We created a breach effect for the wildlife to exit on the one side of the pond using Scottish pebbles. We then added some marginal aquatics plants and filled the pond.
A lovely feature installed in one day.

The finishing touch was added to this beautiful and natural large garden in Shrewsbury with the creation of a wildlife pond.

Wildlife Pond - Hanwood, Shropshire
This wildlife pond was in desperate need of some TLC. There were several leaks, one from an outdated UV filter, and the pond was heavily silted up.
After emptying and dismantling the pond, we installed a new Firestone 1mm Butyl liner. We brought in more sandstone rockery stone to build up the sides and ensured the rocks were mortored correctly to prevent leaks.
Finally we replaced the outdated UV filter with an all in one compression filter system with a built UV and solids filter system. These filters can easily be hidden and are easy to maintain.

Japanese Water Garden - Lilleshall, Shropshire
The customer wanted to recreate a little bit of Japan in her garden following a visit there, so that is what we did.
These are shallower pools with plenty of plants and rocks within the pool itself to attract wildlife.
We used natural sandstone rock for the pond and waterfall and used an assortment of grasses, heathers and alpines to complete the look.

Small Wildlife Pond - Eyton on the Weald Moors, Shropshire
This small wildlife pond was designed to complement the natural vegetation of this established garden.
There was a small existing pond but it had fallen into disrepair over the years. We dismantled the current pond and dug the new pond a little larger claiming back some of the area lost to vegetation. We also added a small sandstone waterfall to give the sound of running water in the garden. The pond was lined and a pump and pipework added.
The existing weathered sandstone rocks were reset over the new liner and some additional planting added to the perimeter. The pond was filled and tested and ready for the wildlife to move in!

Large Wildlife Pond - Telford, Shropshire
This large wildlife pond needed a complete renovation as it had fallen into disrepair over the years.
We cleaned the pond out and dug it out to make it a little wider and deeper. We then relined it and brought in rockery stone to build the perimeter and a new waterfall.
Finally we installed a new pump and a pressurised filter system to keep the water clear.
The pond was filled and the result was a beautiful natural looking wildlife pond ready for the frogs to move in.
