What we offer

We offer the full range garden design and landscaping services.

Consultation

The starting point is a visit you at your convenience to assess your needs. Click here to book a consultation. We will visit you at your convenience and discuss the possibilities for your garden.

If you have any thoughts about what you would like in your new garden then that is great, but don't worry if you don't, as we will go through all the options with you.

At this point we can normally give you a rough quote for what is required.

Surveying Service

Most of the landscaping work we undertake is straightforward. However on larger projects a site survey may be necessary.

The survey will take between one and two hours. The survey includes the following:
  • Accurate measurement of the site including measure of current levels using laser-levels
  • Photographic record of the site
  • Taking soil samples in order to perform a chemical analysis of your soil. This will ensure we only choose plants which will thrive in your soil-type
  • Questions regarding ownership of boundaries, any tree preservation orders etc.
Garden Design Service

Most of the landscaping work we undertake is straightforward and no design is necessary. However if you are looking for a complete makeover and would like an idea of what the new garden will look like before landscaping commences, then we do offer a garden design service.

The design itself can be anything from a basic ink drawing to a water-colour rendered scale drawing of the entire site, we can go into as much detail as is required.

If you require a garden design then we will need to carry out a survey (see above).

Once the survey is complete we can then draw a scale plan of your garden. Using information from our discussions we can put together one or more concept drawings. These will give you the first glimpse of what your new garden will look like.

We then visit you with the concept drawings to discuss any changes or variations on the ideas. At this stage we will also discuss the choice of materials with you.

Once we have decided on any changes to the concept drawings and decided what materials to use, we will then go ahead and prepare the final scale drawings that will be used by the landscape team to construct your new garden.

The final plans are rendered in watercolours to give you a clear idea of what your new garden will look like. The final plans will also include detailed construction drawings of pergolas, brickwork etc.

Once you are 100% happy with the design, we can then progress to the landscape phase of the project.

Landscaping Service

We provide a full range of landscaping services (see the links on the left).

Note that our services are very popular and we are normally booking up to four weeks ahead so if you do wish to use us, then the sooner we book you in, then the sooner your landscaping project will commence.

Our landscapers normally work between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

This is the exciting time as you can watch your garden develop each day. We will give you an estimate of completion time but this will vary dependant on the time of year and the prevailing weather conditions.

We will provide you with before and after photos of your landscape project so you can see the transformation from old to new.

Once the landscaping is complete we remove all rubbish and thoroughly clean the site including paths and driveways, and leave you to enjoy your beautiful new garden.

A garden design is a conceptual theme that runs through the whole of your garden. The design takes into account your interests and your intended use of the garden. A well thought out garden reflects your lifestyle by extending/maximising your living space.

So why do you need a garden designer when you could do it yourself?

Well it takes a lot of work to design and landscape a garden and you may not have the time or inclination to do it yourself.

So how much will it cost?

Well that depends on the size of the garden but bear in mind that a well-designed garden can increase the value of your property substantially.

Doing small projects in your garden every few months will cost you a lot more long-term. A professional garden design looks at your garden as a whole with long-term planning in mind and will cost you less over time, as there is less maintenance.
